There's really not much to report for today. It was ho-hum as far as days go for me. I was counting on my notes to be ready last night, but they won't be ready until tonight. That means tomorrow I get to spend my first 90 minutes of the workday sorting, scanning, collating, and then separating by client. It's not the most fun thing to do, but we do need to get paid.
I saw something pretty cool this morning. I went outside to get the dogs and all 3 were running around chasing each other. Angela, it appears, has finally gotten full control of her legs. She was breaking into full runs this morning while chasing Ozzy and Sharon. Up until this point she was doing mostly what I call 'bunny hops'. You know what I mean, when a puppy can't quite run yet so their running gate looks more like a bunny hopping than a dog running. She's definitely building some muscle on her rear legs as she's starting to fill out nicely. Her next vet appointment will be on day 13. She's scheduled for her final round of vaccinations to include rabies, as well as her final puppy exam. Then I can work on getting her licensed so I don't get in trouble with the City of Houston (the city now requires veterenarians to report owner information on dogs and cats that receive the rabies vaccine... it's a way to ensure compliance, but this is more of a money grab than anything else).
Well, it is rather late and I do need to try to get more than 5 hours of sleep. To all of you out there I bid you goodnight.
I gave this the title "Reach to the Sky" but I'm not sure if that works. Any ideas?
