There was a lot of paperwork today and more running around. As the trip to New York gets closer I'm going to be doing a lot more running around. It's all good though, as I'll finally get to meet my niece. I'm also coming back with a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun for use in home defense. I own a .38 now, but a shotgun is a little more effective as a deterrent since all one really needs to do to grab the attention of an intruder is pump it once. The sound of a shotgun loading a cartridge is pretty loud and unmistakable. Getting by Angela, of course, won't be easy either.
I just need to remember to check on firearms transportation laws in the states through which I will be driving to ensure I don't get arrested on a weapons charge.
Well, that's it in a nutshell for today. To all of you now I bid you goodnight.
